About this house rental
Relax with the whole family at this peaceful getaway located right on the canal in beautiful Jamaica Beach just west of the Galveston seawall. Enjoy fishing, boating, and kayaking right off the attached dock with our fishing lights. It is just a 30 second walk to Flamingo Park and the main canal! Just a few minutes to the bay. Relax in the hot tub on our rear deck with a view of the canal or swing by the community swimming pool and park nearby. Bait shops, surf shops, groceries, and restaurants nearby. Access to a quieter part of the beach where you can drive onto the shore. All the amenities of home, away from home.
Living space has ample plentiful seating and a giant flat screen television. All three bedrooms are equipped with flat screens as well.
The space
There are 3 bedrooms: Bedroom 1 is the master suite with a queen bed and en-suite full bathroom, Bedroom 2 has a double bunk bed with 1 trundle bed, Bedroom 3 has a queen bed. Both Bedrooms 2 and 3 share the full bathroom in the hall. There is a pull out sleeper sofa in the couch, but we prefer if it is only used if absolutely necessary. There is a half bathroom on the lower level, as well as an outdoor shower.
The kitchen has a Keurig coffee machine, crockpot, waffle-maker, toaster, and a variety of cooking spices and utensils. There is large boil pot in the lower level for crab boils.
Guest access
All areas of the home that are accessible with the keys are available for use! We do ask that guests do not operate the boat lift or any of the knobs and buttons on the boat lift unless previously authorized.
Other things to note
Dogs are accepted on a case-by-case basis. It must be less than 50 lbs, is not allowed on any furniture, and must be crated when unattended. If accepted there is a one time, $200 pet fee per stay. Limit two per stay maximum unless previously agreed to.
There are 5 single person kayaks and 5 kayak paddles and 1 stand-up paddle board (SUP) and 1 SUP paddle. Several life jackets from youth to adult size are available. Bikes are available for guest use and helmets are included.
Exterior security cameras are positioned in these areas on the property: Driveway entryway gate and front door. Please do not reposition cameras as they are currently positioned for safety and security. Thank you!

We have stayed at several houses in Jamaica Beach, from very large to smaller houses. Of all of our houses, this is definitely one of the best. The house is located in a very convenient location for getting out into the bay on kayaks, it has a great kayak and paddle board setup, and it also has great fishing lights. Additionally, the house is very well maintained and clean. The owner is exceptionally helpful and responsive. lt checked all the boxes for my family, and we will try to get this house next year when we come back!

Excellent time at a great place. Being on the canal with plenty of space to hang with the family while they had fun with the cayaks and paddle board … Would definitely stay here again. This house is unique and exactly like the pictures and description say.
