About this house rental
Welcome to La Cense du Pont, an old 18th century square farmhouse, located in Bachy (59) in the Lille countryside, set in a green setting of 6000m2 and restored into a house as well as charming cottages and guest rooms. We resumed the activity in April 2026 in a spirit of preservation of the old and nature, and the impetus to create a haven of tranquility where life is good.
We welcome you to the beautiful peaceful setting of La Pévèle, ideally located, close to several tourist places and cultural activities in the region:
- Lille, its monuments, museums and nightlife, and its famous flea market on the 1st weekend of September,
- the famous museums of the Swimming Pool in Roubaix, the LAM in Villeneuve d'Ascq and the Louvre-Lens Museum,
- the spa resort of Saint-Amand-les-Eaux and its casino,
- the historic mining centre of Lewarde,
- the Pierre Mauroy stadium - Decathlon Arena which hosts football matches (LOSC), rugby, concerts, shows, international sports competitions, and events,
- the neighboring Belgian cities, especially Tournai and a little further away, Mons, Bruges, Ghent and Brussels,
- the many walks to do,
- and many other nice places to discover in the surrounding area... not to mention the passage of the mythical Paris-Roubaix cycling race.
Gîte Le Pigeonnier
With a private entrance, this charming cocooning accommodation includes 1 living room, 1 kitchen/dining room, and 2 separate bedrooms, including an upstairs bedroom in the old dovecote.
In the well-equipped kitchen, you will find a hob, oven, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee/tea maker and kitchenware.
The accommodation features a living room with a flat-screen TV.
The bedroom on the first floor is equipped with a 160 cm double bed (which can be installed in 2 single beds of 80x190cm) and a private bathroom with shower, hairdryer and toilet.
Upstairs, you will find a shower room, a separate toilet and a separate bedroom equipped with a 160 cm double bed (which can be installed in 2 single beds of 80x190cm).
Bed linen and towels included.
