Start your mornings with coffee on the enclosed porch overlooking the river, or unwind on the deck while listening to the soothing sound of rushing water. With direct river access, you can fish, kayak, or tube right from your backyard. Perfect for a romantic getaway, family trip, or outdoor escape.

Set your sights on long-range views with visits to Bell Mountain in Hiawassee (37-minute drive) and Brasstown Bald (highest point in GA, 52-minute drive). Spend the day on Lake Chatuge with a boat or personal watercraft rental from a local marina or launch your own from nearby public access. Want to immerse yourself in nature in the Nantahala National Forest? Bring your mountain bikes and ride the first-class trails at Jackrabbit Mountain (also great for hiking and dog-friendly) less than 30 minutes from the property. Fires Creek Recreation Area (10 minute drive) is another Western NC local favorite for hiking with picturesque views, swimming, and trout fishing. On the GA side, take a 30-minute drive to a waterfall hike via the High Shoals Falls Trail or make the 54-minute drive to Alpine Helen, GA for a taste of Bavaria in the Blue Ridge Mountains. There are two "local" airports 1 in Andrews NC and the other in Blairsville GA.
* Regular drip coffee pot and a Keurig , ground coffee supplied.
* No smoking on property.
* Supply your own firewood for the firepit, You can arrange with us to have some delivered
* We supply a propane tank and a spare for the grill
* No parties, this is a quiet family neighborhood
* Fishing in river allowed with proper licenses.
* Dogs allowed with $100 pet fee each. 2 dogs max.
* Tv: Living room tv is smart tv, log in with your own credentials. Bedrooms are DVD players.
* Host Cancellation Policy: any reservations cancelled will receive an 96% refund, (4% is charged for credit card transactions and isn't refunded from our payment processing company.
