About this apartment rental
Enter a space floating between the blue of the sky and the Tyrrhenian Sea. Discover how its lines are suspended, as if awaiting its occupants and their equilibrium. Light reigns supreme here, in the rooms as well as on the spacious panoramic terrace.
Casa Colibrì is located on the third floor of a building on the main street of Santa Flavia.The location is ideal for enjoying a relaxing holiday, ensuring:
proximity to the sea (the beach is 1 km away) very bright apartment (south facing) easy transportation (the train station is 300 meters away) possibility of participating in organized excursions, boat trips, diving, and guided tours (all the materials are available in the house) well kept, clean village with very warm people excellent restaurants in the surrounding area
You have access to all areas of the apartment: Living room with sofa bed, TV, air conditioning, central heating, fully equipped kitchen (oven, refrigerator, pots and pans, dishes, etc.) and a bar. Fiber optic Wi Fi (100 MB download speed) Bedroom, air conditioning, central heating Bathroom with large shower, heated towel rail, hairdryer, washing machine Balcony with chairs, table, and sea view Large roof terrace with sea view, deck chairs, and table.
Casa Colibrì is an apartment with a completely new style that closely reflects the background of its renovators. I, Valerio Gruessner (Italian German), work in the tourism industry (I run an Italian language school in Cefalù) and have lived for many years in Bologna, Berlin, and Sydney. Chloé Pierron, my partner, is from Paris and is an architect and interior designer. The apartment is called Colibrì because we both love nature, especially tropical countries. On one of our trips to Mexico, we came across one of these little birds, and that's how the little mystery was solved : )

To reach my apartment, simply walk down the main road in Santa Flavia. If you're coming from the airport, take the bus to Palermo Centrale and then the train to Santa Flavia. PLEASE NOTE: On the Trenitalia website, you must enter Solunto (unfortunately, this little bug has been around for years). If you're coming from elsewhere and have a car, I recommend exiting the highway at Casteldaccia. Take the SS 113 towards Palermo and after about 3 km, you'll see signs to the right for Santa Flavia. If you'd like to get around by bicycle (which is definitely recommended), I can help you rent one (even electric ones).
