About this apartment rental

The apartment is located in the center of the small medieval village of Radicondoli, in the province of Siena, whose origins date back to ancient times; the first archaeological traces date back to the Etruscan period. The municipality of Radicondoli is located on the eastern edge of the Colline Metallifere (Metalliferous Hills), and is almost entirely hilly, with an average altitude of 510 meters above sea level.
The apartment is the result of a recently completed complete renovation, which has preserved the characteristics that distinguish the homes of this area in particular and of Tuscany in general, such as brick floors and beamed ceilings. The 50 square meter apartment consists of a large, fully equipped kitchen with an oven, washing machine, refrigerator, and a characteristic built-in kitchenette with a sink, induction hob, and dish rack.
The kitchen leads to the charming living room with a comfortable double sofa bed, a reading corner, and a television. The view from the kitchen and living room windows is breathtaking, spanning a green valley all the way to the high peaks of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. The double bedroom has a comfortable walk-in closet. It's the ideal place for a relaxing stay, yet within easy reach of Tuscany's major art cities: Siena, Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Volterra, San Gimignano, and the Abbey of San Galgano, as well as charming seaside resorts on the Tyrrhenian coast. Those seeking a relaxing day can indulge in a visit to the Petriolo Thermal Baths (a 40-minute drive) or the San Giovanni Thermal Baths in Rapolano Terme (a 1-hour drive), surrounded by pristine nature. Those wishing to delve into the past and its rich history can explore the Via Francigena. This represents another great asset of this area: the Via Francigena has been declared a "Great Cultural Itinerary" by the Council of Europe, crossing Great Britain, France, Switzerland, Italy, and the Vatican City. Cycling enthusiasts also have access to routes and itineraries for all levels, winding through the natural landscape of the Radicondoli hills. Pets and smoking are not permitted.
