The Larrabee is a truly unique historic property in the heart of charming Williamston, MI. Originally the 1890s home and office of the town’s first physician, Dr. E.E. Larrabee, this architectural gem has been meticulously restored by local owners and is sure to provide you with an incredible stay. Perfectly blending historic soul with modern luxury, the home features multiple spacious living areas, a stunning chef's kitchen, a private backyard patio, and a spa-like upper level.
About the Space:
The main level is designed for both gathering and quiet escape, offering a beautiful flow between multiple distinct spaces:
- The Chef's Kitchen & Dining: A show stopping space featuring custom teal cabinetry, a rolling library ladder, a quartz island with bar seating, and high-end finishes. Kitchen is equipped with gourmet appliances and cooking ware.
- Massive Family Room: A bright, open, and welcoming room perfect for the whole group to gather and relax.
- The Parlor & Moody Library: Choose your vibe—unwind in the intimate parlor seating room, or slip into the dark, cozy library nook featuring rich original trim, stocked bookshelves, and leather wingback chairs.
- Convenience: The main floor also includes a full bathroom and a dedicated laundry center.
Upstairs, guests will find a sanctuary hosting three thoughtfully designed bedrooms and a main spa-like bathroom complete with a luxury walk-in tile shower, herringbone flooring, freestanding soaking tub, and double sink vanity.
- The Primary Suite: A massive, airy retreat featuring dramatic 12-foot vaulted ceilings, a plush King bed, and a spacious walk-in closet.
- Bedroom 2: Features a comfortable Queen bed and large historic windows offering beautiful views of the streetscape.
