About this lodge
The space
This peaceful retreat offers a sunny sitting room with sleeper sofa, TV, and dining table; a spacious bedroom with a comfortable queen bed; a small kitchenette with microwave, countertop convection oven, single burner induction hotplate, Keurig coffee and tea station and ample fridge; and a private bathroom with shower. Perfect for a relaxing "stay-cation" on our little beach and beautiful lake, or as a base camp for all the amazing scenery and activities available in a 45 minute radius, we can accommodate couples and young families.
Guest access
On request and weather permitting we will build you a campfire. Boating, swimming and children’s swingset available with a signed liability waiver.
Other things to note
Our ample fridge can accommodate several days worth of groceries, but the closest supermarket is 25 minutes away so shop on your way here! There’s a nearby corner store, A.J’s Everything with the basics if you run out of something. They also have a sit down restaurant/bar with decent Pizza and sandwich’s to go. We have a small variety of life preserver sizes available and a preserver is required for boating. Upon request, a load of clothes can be washed and dried for you at $6/load. Our woodland lot is sandy with several inclines in and out. Good walking shoes are advised. Like all of Maine, mosquitos, black flies, and ticks are seasonally present. Bring insect repellent just in case. Our mountain view across the lake is particularly beautiful. Bring your water colors or colored pencils!
