We stayed at the beautiful Meno Lagoon Bungalows for six nights as a family of four, with two adults and two children aged 3 and 7. Before we arrived, we had a few questions, and the communication with the team was exceptional, thanks Rita. Having travelled extensively, I can honestly say it was some of the best customer service we’ve experienced. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Stéphane, his wife, and the rest of the team. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always happy to offer advice or assist with anything we needed. The bungalows are newly built, beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The beds were excellent, the air conditioning worked perfectly, the showers were reliably hot, and there was plenty of space for our family. The swimming pool was another highlight. It’s beautifully maintained and particularly family-friendly, with a shallow section that was perfect for our 3-year-old to play safely while we relaxed nearby. We also loved the communal open air lounge area, where we spent a couple of evenings watching films together (on our ipad) as a family. The restaurant served delicious food with a varied menu. The staff were happy to explain dishes and accommodate requests wherever possible. As vegetarians travelling with two young children who enjoy more Western-style food, we found there was something for everyone. Overall, we had a fantastic stay. The location is peaceful yet central, with both sides of the island and excellent snorkelling beaches just a 10-minute walk away. Meno Lagoon Bungalows has been one of the highlights of our trip, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to other families or anyone looking for a relaxing stay on Gili Meno.
