The property itself is beautiful and the surrounding environment is truly stunning. The hotel clearly has enormous potential. However, when choosing a hotel of this category, it is expected a level of service and attention that, unfortunately, we did not experience during our stay.

Upon our arrival, the receptionist left to carry our luggage ourselves almost all the way to the room (27), which is located quite far from the reception area and downhill. We were also told that the restaurant menu would be sent to us immediately, but we never received it, resulting in us deciding to have lunch outside the hotel. Several aspects of the hotel’s organization were not explained to us upon check-in. For example, nobody informed us how to enter and exit through the gate or which button needed to be pressed to open it when leaving by car. On our first day, we found the gym locked despite it being within the advertised opening hours. We called reception a few times asking for instructions before they noticed the issue. The housekeeping service was equally disappointing. Our room has not been cleaned (despite spending the entire day outside). We therefore had to call (again!) reception, to be provided at least with sole water and fresh towels. The previous day, we had to call them because there was no toilet paper in the room… The manager, with whom we crossed paths on several occasions during our stay, never stopped to speak with us to present either themself or the hotel. Given that the hotel is new, we would have expected at least a more personal approach towards guests. Finally, we dined once at the hotel restaurant and, when paying the bill, the waiter directly asked whether we wished to add a tip. While we fully understand that tips are appreciated, we believe that, in a hotel of this level—especially towards guests already staying at the property—this should remain entirely at the discretion of the customer an not be explicitly requested. As mentioned, the hotel and the infrastructure are beautiful and have tremendous potential, which is precisely why we felt to bring these points to attention.
