Belvedere Country House by ElbaSummer

We had a wonderful stay at this charming little house on Elba. It is located in a peaceful rural area surrounded by olive trees, yet only about a 10-minute drive from the beach. The neighborhood is a lovely residential area with local family homes, giving it a very authentic and relaxing atmosphere. The location is also perfect for exploring the island. Situated roughly in the middle of Elba, it was an ideal base for our daily trips, and we managed to visit the entire island during our stay. The house is also conveniently located only about 20 minutes from the ferry terminal in Portoferraio. The owner is a very kind and welcoming gentleman who produces his own olive oil. The house is on his property, and it is clear that he takes great pride in maintaining everything with exceptional care and attention to detail. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped. Although there is only one air conditioning unit, it was more than enough to keep the entire house cool, even on the hottest days. We especially loved the terrace, where we enjoyed breakfast every morning while taking in the peaceful surroundings. There is also a barbecue next to the house, and when we arrived, the owner had even gone out to buy a brand-new grill grate for us, which was a thoughtful gesture that we really appreciated. We highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Elba. It offers a perfect combination of tranquility, comfort, and a strategic location for exploring the island. We would be delighted to stay here again in the future.
