Maison au calme, jardins, Proche GR

Spacious property, in a great spot near the local cycle paths and a only ten to twenty minutes drive to all the main towns on the peninsula. Big garden, with outdoor patio at the house for sitting outside. Note there are animals in the garden! It's in the small print of the full description, but there's a resident goat and sheep who seem to be best buddies, and were no bother at all.

Property has a bit of a neglected feel - garden is, despite the grazing, fairly overgrown and unkempt. There's a picture of a wooden platform with seating in the descriptor, but in reality it's falling apart, planks loose, overgrown with nettles, and totally unusable - not least as its the animals' base for sleeping! One major issue - all the bedrooms are in the attic, and as it was very hot during our stay we opted to stay in the biggest room but this room has a "door" which opens fully to the outside, with no railings or guardrail, and its a 12ft drop to the ground below!! Several light bulbs out and lighting in the "livingroom" section of big downstairs space is terrible, no hope of sitting on the sofa to read in the evening...in general lighting terrible, no lamps etc. Kitchen could use a good scrub, inside of drawers dirty etc. Cooker a but odd: hob has 2 induction rings, and then theres an adapted side with 2 gas rings, but there was no gas supply obvious, and they didn't work at all.
