Casa Théa Milos

Casa Thea Milos was brand-new, exceptionally clean and very comfortable, with everything we could possibly need during our stay. The bed was very comfortable, the towels were fresh and fluffy, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches such as coffee, tea and sugar. The kitchen was fully equipped with plenty of dishes, cookware and utensils, as well as a large fridge, dishwasher and washing machine, which is especially convenient for longer stays. One of the highlights was the very large and comfortable terrace with a jacuzzi and beautiful views over Triovasalos and towards the sea and Adamantas. The location was also very convenient, as it is close to Plaka, Trypiti, Triovasalos, Klima and many of the island’s beaches, making it easy to explore different parts of Milos. The neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful, so we slept very comfortably at night. The mosquito screens on the windows were also a great feature, especially during the warmer evenings. Overall, the apartment was modern, spotless, well equipped and thoughtfully designed to make the stay comfortable and relaxing.

There were a few things that could be improved. The apartment has a modern, city-style feel rather than a traditional island character, although this is clear from the photos when making the booking. The lighting inside was quite cool and would feel much warmer and more welcoming with warmer lights, especially in the kitchen, above the bed and in the bathroom. In the bathroom, it would be helpful to have a few hooks or towel hangers. The jacuzzi outside was a lovely feature, although having the option to heat the water would make it more enjoyable, especially when the weather is cooler. The main consideration is the access to the property. From the parking area, there is a few-minute walk involving both an uphill and downhill section, which requires some care and could be difficult for older guests or anyone with mobility issues. The parking is also some distance away, so carrying groceries, water or other shopping to the apartment can be inconvenient. It would be helpful if the listing clearly mentioned the approximate walking distance from the parking area, so guests can know what to expect before booking. Overall, these are relatively minor points, especially for younger and more active guests, but mentioning them in advance would help visitors choose the accommodation according to their needs.
