The Hideaway was suited for chilling, cooking up a storm (alas we only boiled eggs owing to the plethora of decent restaurants), taking an excellent rewarding shower after a days jaunting and a bed that was so comfy my wife didn’t want to leave it. The kitchen is equipped for your best, a washing machine with a short cycle (there’s a laundry rack), the whole place the bedroom especially was very quiet. There’s a tele with Roku, the sofas very comfy with a cup of tea or a glass of wine. Our host Duncan was simply splendid. We truly felt at home.

We had everything we needed in the flat. We particularly appreciated the very generous welcome pack.

The flat was spacious, comfortable, spotless and had all of the amenities we needed and more!! Duncan was really lovely! So friendly and communicative and very kindly left us bread, jam, eggs, milk, biscuits and more which was all very welcomed after a long travel and busy weekend! The location was great, only a 5 minute walk to the Ventnor high street (which includes a tesco) and 10 minutes down the hill to the beautiful beach! We had a really lovely stay, slept brilliantly and would love to stay again if we’re back in the IOW! Also it was great value for money! Thank you for having us and for your kindness!!
