Coastal Retreat

I stayed here with my two children and we absolutely loved it. The apartment has a beautiful view of the garden and a lovely big window, so I could enjoy my morning coffee looking outside. The sea is only a couple of minutes away, which was perfect for my morning runs. We also walked to the Angel bay and were lucky enough to see seals! Llandudno is only about 6 minutes away by car. There is also a shop, playground and swimming pool nearby. The apartment had everything we needed. The kitchen was very well equipped, the bed was really comfortable, and everything was clean and cosy. The host was very friendly and helpful and showed us on the map some lovely places to visit.

Nothing! We really enjoyed our stay and had no problems at all.

Overall location (Colwyn Bay / Penrhyn Bay / Llandudno) very pleasant and property within a very short walk of the promenade which extends all the way down to Colwyn Bay, nice bit of hill walking to Angel Bay as well to see the seals (saw two grey seals), so ideal situation if walking is your thing. Co-Op, petrol station and Chinese take away all within an easy walk at the Llandudno roundabout. Fair sized attic room with access via staircase off kitchen. Room clean with comfortable double bed and armchair, small wardrobe and writing desk. Two windows across from each other so good for getting a bit of air circulation during our stay. Clean toilet directly across from room and another guest bedroom next door. Very nice big back garden with apple trees.

Stairs to attic downright dangerous, treads too narrow especially for the last couple of steps at the top. Shared bathroom clean but small and on the ground floor so trip for shower an adventure down the precarious stairs. Kitchen a work in progress and needs finishing asap.

Room was spacious with comfortable bed, couch and armchair. Decor, bric a brac and fittings dated but not tatty. Shared bathroom clean but small, shared kitchen well supplied but work in progress. Very generously sized private garden.

Slight step just after entering front door was dangerous, especially after dark, and tripped repeatedly when fetching luggage. Bathroom very small for sharing situation. Kitchen needs to be properly finished asap.

The host Tim was very hospitable. Location was good ,Penrhyn seems a really nice place.

No reflection on Tim whatsoever. My partner and I were unlucky to have a guy in the next room who decided to talk on his phone until 1.40 am. The rooms upstairs are very close to each other, so should you encounter a person with no courtesy you could have a restless night like we did !
