We were a group of six and originally booked this villa simply because it was close to a festival we wanted to attend. What we didn’t expect was for the villa itself to become one of the highlights of our entire stay. From the moment we arrived, we were amazed by the warmth and hospitality of our hosts, Mr. Marcello and his wife. This is actually their own home during the winter months, which they rent out during the summer, and you can truly feel that it is a home rather than just a rental property. Every detail has been thoughtfully chosen, creating an incredibly cozy, welcoming and authentic atmosphere. The villa is beautiful, with a huge garden, charming architecture and interiors full of character. During our conversations with the hosts, we learned how much they love travelling, and you can see that reflected throughout the house. The furniture and decorative pieces come from places such as Argentina, England, Peru and many other parts of the world, giving every room its own story and personality. What made the experience even more special, however, was the hospitality. Marcello and his wife were incredibly kind, responsive and always available on WhatsApp whenever we had a question or needed help. Even though this is a private villa and not a hotel, the level of care they gave us went far beyond what we would normally expect from a hotel. They had even prepared a complimentary welcome lunch for us upon arrival, with fresh bread, prosciutto, cheeses, fruit, jams and other local treats, accompanied by a bottle of wine. It was such a thoughtful gesture and the perfect way to begin our stay. Beautiful property, wonderful atmosphere and, above all, genuinely lovely hosts. We came because of the location and left feeling that staying here was an experience in itself. 11/10 — we would come back without hesitation.
