The bathroom was a little small.

Overall, the room itself is quite cozy, but there are far too many downsides.

1) ​A week before check-in, the host began pressuring me to cancel my booking on Booking.com and rebook Palm Studios through Airbnb instead. I refused to cancel, but they still forced me to send a partial prepayment for the first night. 2) ​Zero soundproofing. The elevator plays loud music, which can be heard 24/7. 3) ​The kitchenette is decently equipped, but there isn't a single knife. 4) ​A lot of trash in the hallways, stairwells, and sometimes inside the elevator. 5) ​When you leave the room and remove the key card, all electricity turns off, including the fridge (standard hotels keep the fridge power on). Be prepared for your ice and ice cream to melt. 6) ​The owners really need to learn the basics of business communication and take introductory hospitality management courses. ​I especially wouldn't recommend staying here if you are a foreign tourist.
