Brook Lodge, One bed house in AONB Dorset with seasonal swimming pool

Village location in between Shaftesbury and blandford with a Village shop and pub. Lodge had everything you needed. Lovely decor but could only get bbc1 on tv. Great shower and was always a warm and cosy feeling inside.

Nothing.

Very clean and homely, love the design and decor- real nice quality finishes to the utilities, felt like a private space in a flattering location for localism and the countryside. Loved the bathroom, water temp and ability to heat the property on up to date technology. Has given us inspiration for our future home, my girlfriend loved the place.

That we had to leave so soon. Family lives locally so will use this regularly and as an escape. Genuinely couldn’t fault the stay. Everything is there that you need. If you add a hot tub then this would be the cherry on top, especially for guests in the colder months who don’t have access to the pool, however the bath is more then sufficient, would be nice to be in the autumn air in a hot tub.

This isn't me being biased, but I liked everything. The annex, the pool, the facilities, unbelievable really for the price as it was very reasonable. The location is also perfectly tucked away in a nice, quiet rural village. Absolutely beautiful. Debs and Simon also went above and beyond as they greeted us and also very kindly fulfilled a special request as it both me and my partner had got engaged a few days before staying, so on arrival we saw a lovely bottle of Champagne on ice with some lovely Dorset chocolate. Now that is what you call going above and beyond, and that is what Debs and Simon certainly did. Truly execptional.

Theres was nothing to dislike.

A great home from home - everything was spot on. We had lovely weather so the pool was brilliant. Would definitely love to come back again.
