Great location. Comfortable stay. Would rent again if run by different management.

Beautiful property overall, and we loved the space itself — but be aware of a few issues before booking. First, my own mistake: the listing doesn't allow multiple dogs, which I missed, so that's on me. However, our security deposit was withheld largely over lint roller sheets the host used to "prove" dogs were on the furniture, which we did not allow our dogs on the furniture. Worth noting: on any property where dogs are permitted, you can lint-roll the same furniture over and over and keep collecting hair — that's not evidence of misuse, it's just what happens in a home where dogs live. We did a real deep clean before leaving — 8 of us (my wife and I, our 5 teens, and grandma) spent over an hour and a half on it — and left the unit about 10 minutes after checkout. We'd already washed most linens ourselves, including towels; the only items we left for the host's laundry were a few things by the washer/dryer, including a blanket that had been left out for guest use. We then went to get our dogs out of the garage, only to find the locks had already been changed, shutting us out. After several calls we then emailed the property at 11:34 am, finally got through, and had our dogs and were off the property by 11:45 am. As further justification for the deposit, the host claimed the lint roller sheets took so long to clean up that they weren't ready for their 4:00 pm check-in prep, and separately claimed a blanket left out for guest use was "covered in hair." Given what was actually shown, a timeline stretching to 4:00 pm is hard to justify. The host's representative also sent a message at 12:11 pm claiming she'd stopped by at 11:30 am and we were still there — we never saw anyone on site while we were trying to leave, and the timing lines up oddly closely with when we'd emailed at 11:34. A couple of other things to know: the listing says "dog friendly," but there's no grass, only rocks.
