The place is beautifully decorated. The location, in proximity to the things we needed to do, was excellent. Also, we needed an extra bed and they had the cot ready for us in the unit. After submitting issues regarding the stay, the Owner did contact me to offer a satisfactory resolution.

I arrived in Miami on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, but no one contacted me, so I had to call to get the access code to the place. When we arrived at the address, we had to drive past two overly filled garbage and recycle bins to get into the driveway. There were many things that did not work properly so I immediately reached out to the Property Agent. Early Thursday morning, a crew arrived and did the lawn. The grass was high and the lawn needed attention, but this should have been done prior to our arrival on Wednesday. On Friday, the maintenance representative came by to address the concerns. When he saw the many issues and found others, he repeatedly apologized that someone didn't prepare the property as it should have been. Some issues included no outside light at the front door, the wires were there, but no light was installed. We used our phones’ flashlights to go up and down the steep stairs at night. There were new lamps placed in one of the bedrooms but not plugged, one could not be plugged since there were no outlets. The dishwasher had a sign, out of service, and he found that it was not plugged. Various outlets did not work, some due to areas with holes but missing the outlet plates and by the front door the hole was missing the light switch plate. The closet which we thought housed the washer/dryer had the HVAC unit and it was filthy with a dirty filter that may not have been installed properly. Finally, the washer and dryer that we were told was operational, was located outside and in deplorable condition. He took pictures to submit a report that the property was not ready for rental, which I stated in our conversation. The refrigerator’s ice maker/water did not work because the water line was on the other side of the kitchen. On the last day of our stay, I experienced a shock from the microwave and electric stove. Again, the unit was nicely decorated, but at that time, there were too many items left undone and it was not ready for rental.
