We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful mountain cabin! It was wonderfully remote and tucked away from the main road, making it the perfect place to escape the city, unwind, recharge, and truly unplug.
The property was spotless, peaceful, and absolutely beautiful. We especially loved the nearby cows, they were so cute, and my family had a blast watching them come up near the house! The snacks and water provided were such a thoughtful touch, and the WiFi was surprisingly speedy, which was a huge plus since I needed to get a little work done during our stay.
But nothing quite compared to sitting on the deck at sunrise with a hot cup of coffee. The views and peaceful atmosphere made those mornings unforgettable.
We came to celebrate my mother-in-law’s 70th birthday and couldn’t have asked for a better retreat. It was the perfect place for our family to slow down, relax, and spend quality time together. A true hideaway!
We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain getaway. We’d love to come back! 🏔️🖤

We loved everything about our stay. The owners provided water and snacks, so that upon arrival, after a long drive, we didn't have to think about cooking. But, if we had to, everything is provided in a well-stocked kitchen. The view is beautiful, it's very quiet, and sitting on the deck listening to the wind in the trees, smelling the clean evergreen scented air is relaxing.
There is no air conditioning, but with windows open there is plenty of cross breeze, so it wasn't a problem.
The nearest towns are about 20 minutes away, so make sure you have yourself stocked for the stay. However, visiting Guffey was an experience. We met Bill at the antique store, and he was full of stories. And the Guffey Bakery is excellent.
We would stay again in a heartbeat.
