Appartamento Calabona

Absolutely loved our stay at Calabona Apartment. The apartment is spacious, exceptionally clean and clearly maintained with great attention to detail. There were two of us, but it would be very comfortable for four, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. We loved the two beautiful gardens, one at the front and one at the back. The apartment is equipped with everything you might need, and the owner even made sure to leave a beach umbrella and bottled drinking water for us. The traditional Sardinian sweets were an especially lovely gesture. We loved the location as well: a pleasant 15-minute walk to Alghero’s historic centre, with two smaller beaches about 10 minutes away on foot. Conveniently, there are also a couple of bus stops nearby, with connections to the centre and Maria Pia beach, and a supermarket is around a 10-minute walk away. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, and the owner was wonderfully helpful, welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it!

The location is very peaceful and quiet, yet it is relatively close to several beautiful wild beaches. There is also a bus stop just a short walk away, making it very convenient to reach the public beaches and the city center. The apartment itself is exceptionally comfortable and thoughtfully equipped. Everything was spotlessly clean, including the bathroom, bedrooms, towels, and kitchenware. Every room has air conditioning, and we especially appreciated the adjustable lighting, which allowed us to control the daylight intensity. The property is enclosed and separated from the street, providing extra privacy and a sense of security. Having two private outdoor yards was another great bonus. A grocery store is only a 10–12 minute walk away, making it easy to buy everything you need. Communication with the host was immediate and efficient, and the house rules were clear and easy to understand.
