Clear instructions via the emails I got.
Too noisy ... the windows do not isolate a lot. Sleeping earplugs are a must or you will not sleep at all.

Clean rooms, comfortable place, very close to central station. Very easy and secure access making everything with codes, without a need for any human contact. AC and very good air ventilation in the rooms. So you can also travel in a very hot summer (which is getting common nowadays) without any worries. Makes you feel very safe, comfortable in a very clean and tidy place. Another main advantage is that you can keep your luggage in the locker rooms for free as a privileged guest of this hotel until 23:00 after your check out.
Parking would be very nice if it would be possible or at least with some discount in other places for the hotel guests.
It is very expensive around - if you want a safe parking place. Open street parking is not safe in Dortmund (as I lived there long ago, and getting recommendation from friends who lives there now), as some mad people can break in your car, maybe taking nothing but putting you in trouble.

In unserer Nacht war es leider unangenehm laut durch viel Hupen im Straßenverkehr. Das regelmäßige Rauschen des Zugverkehr hört man natürlich auch dank der Nähe zum Bahnhof. Unser Fernseher ging leider nicht und, da dort kein Personal vor Ort ist, konnte uns online nicht genug geholfen werden.

As a fully automated hotel with no staff, the concept itself worked smoothly on a technical level, but the room location and garage security made the stay less enjoyable.
We had two rooms facing a busy intersection. During the night, it felt like most of Dortmund’s emergency vehicles passed by ambulances, fire trucks, and police. Unfortunately the windows blocked very little of the noise, so our sleep suffered.
The hotel also has no garage of its own and refers guests to a nearby public garage. The only access control is an unmanned boom barrier for cars, anyone can simply walk in on foot. So if you care about your car or its contents, I’d recommend looking for a different hotel in Dortmund.
