L'Écrin Marin - centre & plage à Houlgate

The apartment is situated in a nice and calm area, 5 minutes walk from the ocean. There is no AC but not necessary at all, the nights are cool. Top location to discover Normandy from Étretat to Mont-Saint-Michel and the WW2 beaches. Houlgate has more than 300 villas, the city itself is a real gem, with good restaurants, bakeries, market and a lovely promenade along the ocean. The apartment was comfortable, clean and perfect for 6 nights for a couple. We loved it and would definitely come back.

We had a minor issue with parking, but it couldn't spoil our vacation. When we arrived, the parking place belonging to the apartment was occupied and the car seemed to be there for a longer period of time. We reported it to the owner of the apartment who tried to do something for us. Later we saw this car at several parking places in front of the building so some people just parked their car where they saw a free parking place. One evening all parking places were taken when we arrived home which was rather unpleasant.
