Żeglarska Stare Miasto - Apartament

Initially we were placed in the upstairs apartment (no 5) but the boiler wouldn’t work and we had to have an (extremely) cold shower. The apartment was extremely hot, in bad need of air conditioning. We were sweating profusely and really needed a shower. Owner eventually came to try to fix the shower. After lots of banging the boiler, he determined he couldn’t get it to work and offered us another apartment downstairs (number 2) in the basement. This apartment was very cold and damp compared to the upstairs apartment. And this apartment strangely had air conditioning. The water in the bathroom because it’s damp will stay until the day youre leaving coś it’s so damp and humid there. You need to leave the windows open. It was 32 degrees Celsius outside but freezing cold inside. It’s a very old building that has been renovated. Owner is extremely friendly and speaks English very well. He helped love our baggage from the upstairs apartment to the downstairs apartment but there’s no way I would rate either apartment 9.5 as I’ve seen on booking.com - this is a really inflated rating. It should be in the low eights definitely but not 9 point something. I’ve seen much better apartments closer to the Old Market Square in Torun for a much better price.
