The villa is in the village of Yaiza, about 15 minutes by car to Playa Blanca. The village has traditional restaurants which are walkable from the house. There is also a public bus service to Playa, but I would recommend hiring a car.
The villa is exceptional. I base this grading on renting many villas over the years. The owners have fabulous taste, the beds are very comfortable, the pool excellent, as well as the amenities. It's modern and was very clean on arrival and quiet, which we like.
Christian, who manages the property was brilliant, accessible and responsive. We had only a very minor issue which he resolved very quickly.
I have no hesitation in recommneding this villa and Christian's company.
For the record we're a family of five, 3 kids aged 9, 11 and 13.
