Our stay at the Downtown Hotel in Baghdad's Old City was absolutely flawless from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, anticipating our every need with genuine warmth and professionalism. Being right on the doorstep of the iconic Al-Mutanabbi Street made our trip truly unforgettable; stepping straight out into such a vibrant world of literature, historic cafés, and shopping was magic. The room was stunningly designed, immaculately clean, and offered a beautiful peaceful retreat right in the heart of the action. This is hands-down the best experience we’ve had in the city, and we cannot wait to return.

Loved the location, just off Mutanabbi Street. It felt like a little oasis in the middle of busy downtown Baghdad. Staff were all lovely and accommodating. I would definitely come again.

This is such a great place to stay in Baghdad. I've been to this city several times and when I saw that this hotel opened up in the Old City, I had to give it a try. The rooms are beautifully designed and very comfortable, with careful attention to detail. The reception staff are friendly and helpful and the location is perfect. Just walk out the door and you have historic sites, markets, cafes, restaurants, the Tigris River and more within a couple of minutes walk. Being the only hotel in the Old City, it's an excellent option in order to enjoy the great vibe of this area.
