Anissa Shasta Hostel

A Ana foi muito atenciosa conosco, nos ofereceu agua assim que chegamos e nos deixou usar a maquina de lavar roupas. Também pude usar a cozinha e utensílios para fazer refeições.

Não existe estacionamento fechado, mas estacionamos na rua em frente à residência, em bairro tranquilo e residencial.

Great location and great proprietary. Vanessa was outstanding in a pleasured meet. We were well taken care of.

Vanessa was wonderful, the price was fantastic, the rooms were basic but worth it, the facilities provided everything we needed and more (we did laundry for free, and we got free coffee and snacks).

It took a bit to check into our rooms, but we also booked last minute.

Can't comment on breakfast because we left before "breakfast." I don't think it was available anyway. Weed has an interesting history. The historical museum is comprised of donations by longtime residents and maintained by volunteers. Very home grown environment. Weed is located in the foothills of Mt.Shasta, which is home to beautiful lakes and waterfalls. The opportunities for outdoor adventure is available. However, we were just passing through on our way to Napa for a wedding and didn't have time to enjoy the opportunity of out-of-door sight seeing.

The hostel is in an old home which is in need of renovations and facility upgrades, so there was no AC available at night, and it was hot. The distress of three traumatic events for the community, two fires and the closing of the lumber mill, the major employer for the town, is palatable in the town's atmosphere.
