Gregana Villa - Modern 3BR in the Heart of Seminyak

The staff was nice and friendly, they were attentive to the requirements, the swimming pool was big and clean, one can easily take a dip evening at evening hours without worrying about any insects. The property although matched the photos, had problems and requires better maintenance and upkeep.

The property has some major issues, firstly the location, it was a 5 min walk from the main road, the walking distance is a bearable factor, the unbearable thing was how shady and discreet the location felt in evenings, there weren’t any lights or follow-up boards, which made it difficult to locate the villa during dark. It also felt unsafe given there was interference of locals sometimes on way to the villa. The location also made it difficult to check-in since the taxi dropped us on the road and we had to walk in all the way carrying huge suitcases ourselves. Secondly, although the villa seemed as per photos, was clean, comfortable with a hygienic pool, the showers and jet-sprays were a constant pain. Initially the shower would give cold water but would automatically switch to hot water, resulting in our skin being burned frequently. The same issue was in every room. The Jet spray in the ground floor room wouldn’t flow water until pressing it for 5-10 mins making it difficult to use the toilet and post that it would start leaking, stinking the whole washroom. Upon addressing the same issues initially, the villa team was quick to resolve it but the same issues were encountered the very next day which followed till we left the property. Also the villa should offer luggage storage or at-least inform the guest for not having the facility, upon our check-out we had to roam for hours to store our luggage Overall it is a decent property but the staff should fix these issues as they hamper with overall stay experience.
