I had a wonderful stay at Alpenhof Hotel. Communication before arrival was very clear and pleasant, and the photos and description matched reality perfectly. The hotel is in an excellent location: close to hiking routes, the supermarket, the village centre and the bus stop. Arrival was easy and the key box system worked perfectly. Another great advantage is that the hotel participates in the SaastalCard programme during the summer. This gives you free bus transport in the Saas Valley and, even better, free use of many of the mountain lifts. This is incredibly convenient and can save you a lot of money. My room was very comfortable and thoughtfully furnished, with nice modern amenities, a huge TV and a fridge that kept drinks perfectly cold — ideal after a long day of hiking and exploring the beautiful Saas region. The bathroom was also well equipped, with plenty of large towels. Most importantly, the bed was excellent, with good pillows and a lovely duvet. The balcony with mountain views was another big plus. All in all, this hotel and room made my stay in Saas-Almagell and the Saas-Fee region absolutely perfect. I would definitely come back to enjoy the mountains again and stay at Alpenhof once more!

This day was absolutely fantastic. - First of all the rooms had a great view. - The location is amazing. - The drive to the location was fantastic. - There's no direct train connectivity but we came with a car and got parking facilities, which was also great. - We also received the Saastal card, which allowed us access to the neighbouring activities, mountains, and hiking trails, which was again fantastic. - The hosts were very communicative. Overall the bed was super comfortable, with clean linens, good carpet, fully equipped rooms and bathrooms, and an amazing view from the balcony again so everything was a plus

The only downside was that the showers didn't have soap or shampoo, and no iron in the rooms.
