Casa Lulú

¡Gracias Lulú and Paco! ¡¡¡A un paso del Estadio Azteca!!! Excellent location for an overnighter to catch a game at Azteca. The hosts, Lulú and Paco were very helpful, friendly and kind. They explained everything and offered to help several times. Muy amables! Very simple accommodation, but has everything for an overnight. The bedroom has WIFI, a TV and books to pass the time. There is a kitchen but we did not use it. The place has a homey feel. The is an OXXO down the street. Easy to find your way back to with all the plants in front. Remember that for after the game🤣 It's the one with all the plants!

THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT BUT YOU MAY NEED TO KNOW: The bedroom is on the lowest level. The stairs are STEEP and AND A BIT PRECARIOUS. (More like a ladder than stairs.) The sleeping quarters may not accesible if you are mobility impaired. Strongly recommend you leave you heavy gear upstairs.

First of all, this place will make you feel like you are their family. I feel like their family after one night with them. They were kind enough to pick me up from the bus station because I was there on a World Cup night. I arrived at their home to a home-cooked (and manyneed to follow those up!) They were kind enough to walk me to the oxo, take me on the bus to be able to watch the game and then drive back alone, loan me a jacket, loan me an umbrella, drive me to, and from my parking location, and even invited me back. I'd love Mexico and I love Mexicans and this was the ideal embodiment of a Mexican family. I couldn't have asked for a better night! I only regret I couldn't have stayed longer!
