Newly refurbished. The staff were very attentive and the food was very good. The breakfast was ok but the eggs were overcooked as well as the bacon. Room was nicely decorated and comfortable.

Room rate of £190 per night was way over priced. Any Hotel charging that price should be a 4 or 5 star. Your hotel is a good 3 star. When I arrived to check in I was told the room was on the 2nd floor with steep steps (No lift) no assistance with luggage(good job I only had hand luggage). No kettle in the room just an expresso machine with only a choice of expresso. 2x Tea bags ??? toiletries in the room were large pump shampoo/body wash. I don't like these as you don't know who used them last time. I have checked the prices of the other hotels in the area and this one is more than double a fair comparison. The final observation NO car park. When i arrived no one explained parking just said they didn't have any. So in the afternoon I had to keep moving the car every 2 hours. I later found out there was a paid carpark not too far away. Sorry last point. When you serve tea/coffee in the bar its normal to have sugar/sweetener's served with it. I kept having to ask for them which doubles the work load of your staff. Also you need to get your invoicing right. When a guest charges his F&B to his room he wants an Invoice on check out with his total cost Room & Charges on 1 bill. Not a print out of his bar tab and a promise to send him his room bill via email. All in all a very disappointing stay and did not get anywhere near the expectations based on the price
