Air Conditioning: No air conditioning in cabins, though each has a ceiling fan in living area and a smaller fan for bedroom use. Air conditioning in main house.
ATV's: Not on property but there are trails nearby.

Bathrooms: 1 bathroom with stand up shower in each cabin. Main cabin has half bath as well.

Boats: There is room at the shared dock for a six 20 ft or smaller boats.
Boat Launch: Hessel Marina is just down the street at 3023 Lake street.
Bugs: Mosquitoes are common during the summer months and near the water. Bug spray is recommended.
Cable: No traditional cable. Smart TV's and basic channels are available.
Cell Phone Service: Most work fine.

Dock: There is a community dock with room for approx. six 20ft boats.
Drinking Water: Clean well-water.
Drugs/Smoking/Fireworks: Freshwater does not permit illegal drugs of any kind on the property. Due to the location of the properties, smoking is strongly discouraged around the home and strictly prohibited in the home. Fireworks are prohibited at a Freshwater location for the safety of all persons in and around the property, even if it is legal in that city.
Fireplace: There is a fireplace in the main cabin. The smaller cabins do not have indoor fireplaces.
Fire-pit: There is a shared fire pit. Guests bring own wood.
Fishing: Allowed off dock.
Fishing License: A license is required to fish in Michigan.
Fishing Poles: Please bring your own fishing poles.

Grill: The main cabin has a propane grill. Each individual cabin has a charcoal grill for guest use.

Linens: Yes, we provide your sheets and linens. Just like a hotel, the beds will be made for you upon arrival. We have just the basic sheets, pillows, pillowcases, and bath towels.
Parking: There is a large parking lot for guest use. 1 car per cabin. You may drive close to the cabin to unload or help guests who cannot walk far distances as long as final parking.
Pets: Pets are not allowed on this property.
Privacy: Cottages are close together on property.
Snowmobiles: a person (resident and nonresident) that operates a snowmobile in Michigan is required to purchase a snowmobile trail permit. The trail permit enables snowmobilers to ride state-designated trails and thousands more miles of public roads and on public lands (where authorized). It is valid for one year, which begins Oct. 1 and ends Sept. 30 of the following year. State-designated trails are open Dec. 1-March 31 and grooming occurs when there is enough snow on the ground.
