The Space:

Retreat@23B is a bright, freshly styled single-level home on a quiet Ōwhata street on Rotorua's eastern, lake side. The living, dining and kitchen open through full-height glass sliders onto a large covered deck - the heart of the house from spring through autumn.

Guest Access:

You'll have the whole house to yourselves, along with the covered deck, the outdoor dining area, the fully fenced lawn and garden, the laundry and off-street parking. There's no shared space and no hosts on-site - the property is yours for your whole stay.



The Neighborhood:

Retreat@23B sits on a quiet street in Ōwhata, on Rotorua's eastern, lake side - a relaxed suburban pocket that's handy to everything. You're minutes from Lake Rotorua, the Redwoods Whakarewarewa Forest and the region's geothermal parks, with local shops and the airport close by, and central Rotorua an easy drive around the lake.



Getting Around:

A car is the easiest way to get around, with off-street parking right at the door. By car, Rotorua Airport is only about 4 minutes away, the Redwoods around 9 and Te Puia about 10, with the Waiariki and Polynesian spas roughly 12 and Skyline, ZORB and Canopy Tours about 21. Central Rotorua is a short drive around the lake.



Other Things to Note:

A few things worth knowing: the covered deck is the standout - full-height glass sliders open the living area right onto it, with a BBQ and outdoor dining overlooking the fenced garden. Inside there's a Smart TV, a ceiling heat pump and a separate laundry with a washer and dryer, and WiFi runs at around 93 Mbps. Check-in is self-service, so the house is yours from the moment you arrive.
