About this house rental

The holiday home "Kleine Magdalena" is situated directly on Karlsplatz in Neustädtles, in the heart of the Rhön region. A historic "Tropfhaus" (a traditional artisan's cottage) with exceptional charm, it was sustainably and thoroughly renovated in 2025. Together with the neighboring holiday homes "Karlseck" and "Marienwinkel", it forms a delightful ensemble in the center of the village. Here, you can enjoy the peace of the forest edge while benefiting from the idyllic location right on the village square.

The house accommodates up to 4 guests. An open-plan living concept with impressive ceiling heights and a cozy mezzanine level creates a bright, spacious atmosphere. During the renovation, a strong emphasis was placed on sustainability and a healthy living environment: natural materials such as wood and high-quality terracotta tiles define the ambiance, while pleasant wall and underfloor heating provide cozy warmth. The furnishings are of high quality, perfect for resting and reading, though modern comforts like Wi-Fi and TV are also provided. A private, fenced garden with a terrace is available for your use—and dogs are very welcome here.

The location in the Rhön is an ideal starting point for exploring unique natural landscapes. Known as a certified climatic health resort and an International Dark Sky Park, the region is a pioneer in nature and species conservation. The Schwarzes Moor and Rotes Moor (Black and Red Bogs) are particularly worth seeing, accessible via fascinating wooden boardwalks. Numerous nature trails offer insights into the flora and fauna of this UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. For those interested in history, the former Inner-German Border nearby features impressive traces of the past and memorial sites that invite reflection.

Whether you prefer guided hikes, motorcycle excursions, or a ride on the nostalgic "Rhön-Zügle" train—the surroundings offer relaxation in every season. In winter, perfectly groomed cross-country skiing trails, sledding hills, and ski lifts await. For culinary delights, you can find regional organic products directly from local farmers or in nearby shops. If you are looking for variety, the area hosts numerous events such as the "Fladungen Classics," the "Rhön Highland Games," or the "Rhön Sausage Market." Popular destinations like the Wasserkuppe (with its summer toboggan run), the Gersfeld Wildlife Park, or the famous Kreuzberg Monastery are also within easy reach. "Kleine Magdalena" combines historic architecture with modern, ecological living quality to create the perfect retreat for your regeneration.
