Tagaytay Haven Ulat Managed by Novella

We have mixed comments on our stay at Novella and we'll outline it here: The bad: - No sign on the entrance, we almost got chased by dogs on the next street because we got lost. - I think there is a staff shortage. We patiently waited during check-in. It also took a while for us to be shared a simple wifi password after numerous asks. - Too expensive given that the wifi did not reach our room and that there is no complementary water in the room. I thought that the dispenser in the lobby was working. When I tried to get water the staff just said 'Its not working.' Nothing more than that to help my problem in finding water. I would understand if they told me I can get water and I needed to buy from somewhere or that there is a store minutes away to buy, but I had to look for the nearest one to buy it. - Wifi was also a problem given that cell signal in the area was slow. We would have expected for the connection to be good. Good: - the restaurant served good coffee and food. - there was a recreation area for guests. Overall, I would not recommend this unless the purpose of your visit to Tagaytay is to attend an event held in this place. Its actually intended to be an events place than an accomodation. We were expecting good amenities and service because it was a bit more expensive than the other accomodations in the area. It has potential, but I don't think the cost was worth the trouble.

Easy road access, you dont have to go through tagaytay heavy traffic, but still within tagaytay. Rooms are super nice, and one of the cheapest here in tagaytay

For now, I would say no. The property needs significant improvement, starting from the entrance to the amenities. The room itself is clean and spacious, and the bathroom water supply is good. However, it would be better if each room had a telephone to contact reception, complimentary coffee or water, a hair blower, hotel slippers, and a mini refrigerator. The pool is not well-maintained — while the water looks clear, there is visible dirt on the floor and leaves floating on the surface. Breakfast should also be included in the accommodation package. Overall, the area has many aspects that need improvement, and I hope these can be addressed. Most customers, especially families with children, look for comfort and enjoyment during their stay. Since we pay for a superb experience, these upgrades would make the stay truly worthwhile.
