We loved everything about this place! The parking was easy to get in and out, the kitchen had anything and everything you would need and it just felt like home. We even got to feed the deer right on the back porch! We can’t wait to go back!!

The house was very clean and all the information for the tenants was provided on the fridge which was very helpful. The house can get a little cold and needs constant burning of firewood. That’s normal considering Angelfire gets a lot of snow. The house was awesome and we left some items behind we had to go back for and everyone was nice and very helpful.

We stayed in this house the same time last year. It’s a great house for a large extended family. The disappointment for us was that the door to the deck was locked with a key that required unlocking from the inside, making the door inaccessible, being that we were not provided a key. We were in contact with property mgmt, but they were unable to contact the owner, and they didn’t know where a key might be. One of our favorite things last year was sitting out there in the mornings drinking coffee and watching the wildlife. Obviously we weren’t able to do that this year without putting on shoes and traipsing through the yard to the other side of the house. I can’t imagine that having that door locked could possibly meet safety requirements. Also, the amenities list the “heated” patio (which again, was inaccessible through the door). The last 2 years there has not been propane in the tank for the heater, and I don’t think there’s any in the gas grill either. So either those need to be taken care of, or they probably shouldn’t be listed as perks for this house. All this being said, we love this house. It works perfect for our group. The patio though…such a HUGE disappointment. Having that last year allowed for the early risers to hang out there without waking up the rest of the crew. Not so this year. The back deck is great too, but it’s uncovered and was wet every morning. The house is stocked with an abundance of towels and bedding. Again, love the house. Locked door to patio…so unhappy about that. (And being that said patio is the cover photo for the house…pretty misleading) Propert mgm was very responsive, but unable to help, so we were just left with kind of a sorry, can’t help and that’s that.

What a perfect trip! The cabin was equipped with everything we could need. The room setup was perfect for us. The lake was super close. Some repairs are needed on the back deck and door handles and the mattresses were not very comfortable otherwise it would be a five!
