Chapter9 Serviced Suite

This property recently opened. The room itself was fantastic value and in a great location. Very quiet at night and a very comfortable bed. The biggest issue was the sewerage smell from the bathroom that would spread through the apartment. A lot of things in the room seem half finished. There is no mirror in the bathroom which makes it difficult to shave, etc. The room description said it comes with executive lounge access which it did not. When I asked the staff they just said I can sit in the reception area, which was just two lounges. I think with closer attention to fittings, room cleaning and establishing the rooftop area and clarifying the room inclusions it would be an outstanding place to stay. I look forward to returning when these issues are sorted out. I would absolutely return.

This serviced apartment doesn’t yet feel complete with a makeshift lobby. Also i booked the room for 3 people, but there was only a king bed and the sofa wasn’t a sofa bed. This is a challenging review because Chapter9 is clearly a refurbished space, and although alot of the decor is new and stylish, some are extremely old. There are design elements that don’t make sense. For example, there’s no mirror in the bathroom (?!?!), and the water from the shower drains outside the shower space where the toilet is. Which means showering will always flood the toilet area. Another example being everything looking spanking new, yet the basin drainplug is rusted. Or at the corners of the polished door frame there is plastering/painting that is amateurish. Otherwise, the furnishings look new and stylish with a lot of glass and sunlight which is great. The bed is super comfy, and aircon(s) is cold. The lobby (can be considered a lobby?) staff are helpful, if they are there. And the lift feels more like a cargo lift than an apartment lift. In short, the room and location are great(4.5/5), but everything else is either pre-mature or feels like ‘behind-the-scenes’ of a movie.

Toàn bộ cửa sổ kính full trần tạo cảm giác không gian rộng hơn hẳn, ban ngày ánh sáng tự nhiên ngập phòng, tối lên đèn nhìn xuống phố cực chill. Vibe vừa sang vừa ấm áp, rất hợp cho ở dài ngày, workation hoặc tiếp khách. Vị trí thì gần như không có điểm chê — ngay trung tâm Mạc Đĩnh Chi, đi bộ là tới vô số quán ăn ngon, nhà hàng Nhật, café xịn và các convenience store. Khu vực an ninh, yên tĩnh nhưng bước ra là đầy đủ mọi thứ cần thiết. Sáng uống specialty coffee, tối ăn omakase hay đi bar lounge đều cực tiện. Tiện ích bên trong cũng rất đầy đủ:, bếp gọn đẹp, nước nóng mạnh, wifi ổn định, thang máy sạch sẽ, ra vào an toàn. Chủ nhà/support phản hồi nhanh và rất chuyên nghiệp. Tổng thể: hiếm có serviced apartment nào vừa mới, đẹp, vị trí đỉnh, ánh sáng tốt và vibe cao cấp như vậy ở trung tâm Quận 1. Rất đáng tiền và chắc chắn sẽ quay lại. 🔥 This serviced apartment honestly exceeded expectations from the moment I walked in. Everything feels brand new, with a modern and thoughtfully designed interior. The highlight for me was definitely the large, ultra-comfortable bed — clean, fresh linens with a boutique hotel vibe that made sleeping incredibly relaxing after a long day. Since the apartment faces the main street, the view feels open and lively with that authentic Saigon energy. The full floor-to-ceiling glass windows make the entire space feel much larger and brighter. During the day, the room is filled with beautiful natural light, and at night the city view becomes super chill and cozy. The overall vibe is both luxurious and warm — perfect for long stays, workations, or hosting guests. The location is nearly unbeatable — right on Mac Dinh Chi in the center of District 1. Within walking distance, there are countless great restaurants, Japanese eateries, specialty coffee shops, convenience stores, and trendy cafés. The area feels safe and peaceful, yet everything you need is literally just downstairs. Morning coffee, omakase dinners, or late-night lounges are all incredibly convenient. The in-room amenities are also excellent: private washing machine, compact but stylish kitchen, strong hot water, stable WiFi, clean elevator, and secure access. The host/support team was responsive, professional, and very helpful throughout the stay. Overall, it’s rare to find a serviced apartment in District 1 that is this new, stylish, well-located, naturally bright, and premium in atmosphere. Absolutely worth the price, and I would definitely stay here again. 🔥
