The Flegel Vacation Home in Bad Bergzabern offers you an oasis of tranquility, far from the hustle and bustle and right on the idyllic outskirts of town. Here, you’ll experience pure relaxation surrounded by picturesque nature. Surrounded by rolling hills and countless hiking trails that begin just a few steps away, our house is the perfect starting point for adventurous explorations.
The area around the vacation home is a true paradise for nature lovers and adventurers. Right from the house, you can access numerous hiking trails or mountain bike routes that lead you through the breathtaking landscape of the Palatinate Forest. Explore the unique Dahner Felsenland and the Southern Wine Route, both just a few minutes’ drive away.
The access road is a paved forest road that’s very easy to navigate. You’ll automatically receive illustrated directions or a map before your arrival.
Cell phone reception is excellent (5G); even video conferences are possible here.

Flegel Vacation Home:
Enjoy the comfort of your own private property, where you can let your mind wander, or relax on the outdoor seating area—an oasis of tranquility with breathtaking views. You’ll experience special moments on the rustic Villeroy & Boch tiled stove bench, which radiates inviting warmth and coziness. To heat it up during the transitional seasons and in winter, you’ll need to pitch in and tend the central wood-burning stove yourself. Of course, plenty of firewood is provided.
We also provide a lockable MTB garage, ideal for mountain bikers who want to explore the surrounding area. Our smoke-free house and the car parking space provide additional comfort. Satellite TV keeps you up to date if you’d like to relax after an active day.
On-site costs: Prices include final cleaning, electricity, water, heating or firewood, and sales tax. Bedding is included; you must bring your own towels of all kinds. In Bad Bergzabern, a guest fee (formerly known as the “Kurtaxe”) is charged, for which you will receive a guest card. • April 1–October 31: €1.80 per person per night • November 1 – March 31: €1.50 per person per night The guest fee is charged separately and is not included in the room rate! The following are exempt from the guest fee: • Children under the age of 14 • Business travelers • Severely disabled persons with a disability rating of at least 70% who can provide proof via an ID card, as well as their registered companion The guest fee must be paid at the beginning of your stay.
