About this cottage rental
Stroll to the beach, hire a kayak or explore Fowey’s shops, galleries and an abundance of places to eat and drink. When you return to this elegant townhouse – a fabulous base for friends or families – you can enjoy its stylish interior complete with a superb kitchen, spacious lounge and three sumptuous bedrooms.
Mingling the charms of original features with the convenience of modern amenities, this end-of-terrace townhouse has undergone a transformation into a haven of modern taste and comfort. The lounge offers squashy sofas and a Smart TV, and connects to the dining space via steel-framed glass doors, allowing light to flood from front to back. The dining area leads to the beautifully fitted galley kitchen, equipped with an induction hob and Nespresso coffee machine, and walled with glass doors to the courtyard. When you’re ready for bed, the three beautifully designed bedrooms are all on the first floor, sharing two shower rooms. The garden at the rear is safely enclosed, and includes a low-level shower – great for muddy dogs (or children!) or after a day at the beach. Additionally, there’s a small, decked terraced area at the top of the stone steps by the kitchen: a wonderful place in which to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening drink.
Stroll downhill from your elevated location and you’ll reach the bustling harbour town of Fowey in less than 0.5 miles. Try out some water sports, spend time on the beach at Readymoney Cove (0.5 miles) or hike the coastal path, then satisfy your appetite among the excellent selection of cafes, pubs and restaurants in town. If you want to get out and about, catch a ferry across the estuary for a gorgeous walk, or head to the world-famous Eden Project, 6.5 miles.
