About this cabin rental
Relax with a book on one of the two decks, either overlooking the lake or the garden. Enjoy an outdoor meal at the picnic table at the waterfront, followed by an evening fire at the fire pit (firewood provided). Explore the lake and its wildlife. Our cottage comes with a 17’ canoe, a 14’ canoe, two kayaks and a paddleboat. If you bring a boat, a public launch is available less than ¼ mile east of our cottage.
The cottage has three floors. The main floor has two bedrooms, each with a double bed. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room that seats 8, a bathroom with double sinks and a tub/shower, a large living room with a gas fireplace and a smart TV (guests use the wifi to log in to their preferred streaming service). The upstairs has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two twin beds. The downstairs recreation room is perfect for playing games and putting together jigsaw puzzles and has a cozy wood stove to keep it warm on cooler days.
While kitchen linens are provided, guests bring their own bed linens (sheets and pillow cases) and bathroom linens (bath and hand towels and washcloths). For beds, we furnish mattress pads, blankets and pillows (each pillow is encased in a liner). We can provide linens for an additional $50 charge.
The property is located on the north shore of Pickerel Lake. It is between the town of Pickerel and Mole Lake, with easy connection to the ATV Trail Route. It is northeast of Antigo (25 miles) and South of Crandon (20 miles). Pickerel Lake is less than 2 hours from Green Bay and Appleton and about 3.5 hours from Milwaukee and Madison.
