About this house rental
An 1886 Victorian with real history and a serious renovation — less than a mile from everything in RiNo, on one of Denver's quietest streets.
The History
This house once operated as a jazz boarding house during segregation, hosting musicians who couldn't stay in Denver's hotels. Miles Davis and Duke Ellington both stayed within these walls. We've spent the last decade restoring the home while preserving every piece of original woodwork and hardware.
The Space
The main floor is anchored by a full chef's kitchen — 6-burner stove, new stainless steel appliances, and a superautomatic espresso maker. The outdoor space is made for entertaining: fire pit, 6-person hot tub, and a private backyard on a no-through-traffic street. The finished basement has its own bedroom, full bath, and living area. A home gym with treadmill, rowing machine, free weights, bench, and reverse hyper is available for guests who want to stay on their routine.
For larger groups, a separate 1-bedroom apartment above the detached garage can be added to your reservation.
The Location
You're in Denver's sweet spot — a residential neighborhood that's walkable to RiNo's best restaurants and breweries but feels completely removed from the noise. The train station is about a mile away. Red Rocks is 30 minutes. DIA is 37.
No through traffic. No noise. Just a great house with a great story in the best part of the city.
