I had a memorable stay at the Cherry Blossom Hotel in Vietnam, especially if you enjoy being in the heart of the action. Located right on a lively party street, the atmosphere is energetic and vibrant, with plenty of bars, music, and nightlife just steps away. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and the room itself was clean and comfortable.

Ok., im not gonna lie. I left a previous hotel for different reasons, and booked through a web presence I won’t mention, but they double booked me. Or my apartment, I should say. When I got to the venue, Tom, the manager apologised for the misunderstanding and offered me, another venue, in the same district, I was adamant about a balcony, they warned me, several times, it was on the fourth floor, and there were no lifts. I was tired, plus im not made out of cristal, so I said yes. Arriving at my room, I felt immediately “home”. It was very pleasant to my eyes, with a minimalist decor, which surprised my expectations. The room was light, bright, comfortable and just felt right. On à side note, every time I needed anything, Tom was available, with prompt response and even going beyond, “duty”. On my last day, I lost my bank card, and suddenly i found myself in a bar, with an unpaid bill and within hours to reach my flight. Tom paid for the amount owed at the bar, the bar people drove me for free to my hotel, where Tom had booked a taxi for me to the airport. I personally found Vietnam one of the most amazing places I have ever been. The people are amazing. I cried, literal tears, when I went to the Museum of Modern Art in Saigon. Art shows what many are afraid to show. An artists creates from their heart, emotions, lived experiences... The wars and suffering made me feel so lil, The Vietnamese are so friendly, despite of what’s been dealt against them. Tom and his wife, and their hotel are a true reflection of that. Peace, tranquility, cleanliness and hope.

I booked the hotel and they sent a message with a different address. I didn’t think much of it but when I arrived it was on the busy walking street with music thumping. Fundamentally they are scamming people by sending them to a different location completely I can only imagine the “bed” was full of bedbugs. I immediately left and requested a refund.
