About this apartment rental
The lower floor offers a bedroom facing the courtyard, a bathroom, and a spacious kitchen-living room with a dining table, sofa, armchairs, and a piano. An old staircase leads you upstairs to a light-filled room with oak half-timbering spanning the entire living area. Here you’ll find a double bed, sofa, desk, and TV. Through a skylight, you have a view of the garden and out over fields and meadows.
We have redesigned the garden: young trees, a planted earthen embankment, field stones, flower beds, and a meadow. We let many plants grow in a way that’s friendly to insects, and the neighbor’s bees keep their hives in the garden. A quiet, cobblestone village street runs in front of the house, lined with linden trees. Every now and then, you’ll run into one of our friendly neighbors.
In the immediate vicinity, you’ll discover three ancient megalithic tombs and a boulder park. The historic towns of Stendal and Tangermünde, with their old town centers, churches, and views of the Elbe, are just 30 to 45 minutes away. Perfect for walking, cycling, or simply enjoying the wide-open landscape and fresh air.
