About this house rental
OCEANFRONT Rodanthe - Midgett Dr. - Are you looking for luxury amenities, quiet location and easy beach access? Then SAILOR'S LANDING is perfect for you. This home has exquisite water views. Inside the home try to pry the teenagers out of the entertaining game room with 55" flat screen TV/DVD, pool table, dartboard and wet bar with microwave and full-size refrigerator with icemaker. Also on this level are two king master bedrooms with private baths, a queen bedroom, a bedroom with 2 single beds and a bunk bedroom all that share the hall bath. There are two more bedrooms on the top level; a queen master with 46" flat screen TV and a king master with 55" flat screen TV. All other bedrooms have 32" flat screen TVs except the bunk bedroom has a 39" flat screen with DVD. All beds are 15" pillow tops with deluxe bedding. The great room boasts exquisite decor with stone features, celestory windows, vaulted ceilings and 70" flat screen TV with BluRay player. The chefs in the family will adore the kitchen with custom cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, dual ovens and just about every convenience they could want. If this isn't enough, the most wonderful feature of the home is the feature provided by mother nature. The view of the ocean is divine with panoramic vistas from both levels. With its quiet location on a street shared with only one other oceanfront home, the outstanding views, the beach access merely steps away and plenty of entertainment options, you couldn't make a better choice for your vacation than SAILOR'S LANDING. This house was perfect for our large family (9 adults and 7 kids from 10 months old - 9). The views from the decks are amazing, there's plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, and the downstairs bar/ hot tub area is a great hangout spot away from the bedrooms while the kids are sleeping.
The house is close to access to the sound and stores where you can pick up food/ beer. The closest store to buy liquor is 25 miles away so pick some up before you get there.
I'd definitely recommend Sailor's Landing for any large gatherings looking to stay directly on the beach.
The only thing that didn't exceed our expectations was the late check in time [4PM]. By the time we got into the house and unpacked it was already dinner time. It feels like we paid for an extra day. Other than that, everything was great.

Sailor's Landing was even better than the online description. The location was perfect, the ocean was beautiful, and the house was amazing. Every amenity you could ask for was available in the house. We felt right at home the entire stay. We saw dolphins from the deck and watched both the sun rise and the sun set, which was absolutely beautiful. The pool and the hot tub were both wonderful, as well. If you are looking for a place to relax, Sailor's Landing can't be beat.
