About this house rental
Enjoy a spacious 3BR/3BA home in a beautiful gated community close to downtown Glendale, the football stadium and spring training. It's in a prime location for an extended stay with community amenities such as a pool, spa, small workout room and lovely greenbelts. The home features 1BR/1BA downstairs plus a den, and 2BR/2BA plus a loft upstairs. There is one 65" tv in the family room with local channels plus Hulu and Prime.
As this listing is for longer-term rentals, this includes a lot of information pertaining to long stays. Please read through the listing to ensure this is the right property for your group.
**IMPORTANT STUFF**
The HOA and city of Glendale have imposed some strict rental rules. Please be aware of the following rules:
1) No visitors allowed. The HOA requires the names of all guests, which must be provided immediately after booking. No other visitors may be on the premises.
2) No noise between 10pm-8am.
Violation of either of these rules will result in immediate removal from the house without refund.
Nobody likes to pay high cleaning fees, so I don't charge any cleaning fee. However, I do require a $500 cleaning deposit. If the house is left in the same condition as when you entered, needing just a basic clean (washing linens, wiping surfaces, mopping/vacuuming floors), the deposit will be returned to you in full. If furniture/decor has been moved significantly or if items are soiled or damaged, or if anything requires heavy scrubbing, that will be deducted from the cleaning deposit. It's up to you if you want to leave the house in good shape or pay the cleaners to do it. I'll mention that I implemented this deposit in 2023 after multiple long-term groups left the house in rough shape and since then, all have left the house in fantastic condition and have received their full deposit back, which makes me a happy host!
The minimum the thermostat can be set is 74. This is necessary to protect the unit in our brutal heat.
The garage is inaccessible so all parking is uncovered. There is no overnight street parking without a permit. The garage is not available to guests but there is room for 3 cars (or 2 large vehicles) in the long driveway.
Smoking is allowed in the backyard only (not in the house, driveway or front yard). Smokers must use an ashtray and safely discard all butts prior to departure. Pot smokers/vapers are not permitted. Sorry, but even when smoked outside, the scent permeates the house and lingers. There is a $200 fee if the house smells like marijuana, cigarettes or other foul odors.
Security devices: there is a Ring doorbell at the front door, a camera at the front of the house and a camera over the garage. There are no recording devices inside the house. There are multiple smart devices (lights, plugs, Alexa, thermostat).
The pool is not heated in winter months (it is plenty warm in the summer), but the spa can be heated year round.
Please be aware this is typically a residence and not a dedicated vacation rental so there are minimal personal items throughout the house and some closets/cabinets that are not available.
There is no mailbox access. Any deliveries (even if you think they're going to be dropped off at the door) should be delivered to an offsite location (such as a UPS Store or Amazon Locker) where you can retrieve them.
