About this cabin rental
Rustic Pine Lodge feels a little like visiting your grandparents' Adirondack camp when you were a child—comfortable, nostalgic, a little quirky, and full of character collected over the years.
Inside, the lodge has the warmth and personality of a true Adirondack camp. Exposed post-and-beam construction, handmade quilts, woven baskets, vintage kitchenware, antiques, old photographs and collected treasures give the home its wonderfully nostalgic feel. This isn't a modern cabin designed to look rustic—it has the comfortable, lived-in character of an authentic mountain retreat.
The spacious main level features a well-equipped kitchen, dining area and inviting living room centered around an impressive stone fireplace—the perfect gathering place after a day exploring the Adirondacks.
Also on the main level is a large bedroom with two queen beds, a private en suite bathroom and French doors opening onto the back deck. A convenient half bath is located on this level as well.
Step outside to the back deck and take in beautiful views toward Pharaoh Mountain through the surrounding forest. A picnic table and two BBQ grills make outdoor meals easy, while the screened-in porch offers a peaceful place for morning coffee, afternoon reading or simply listening to the sounds of the woods.
Upstairs are three additional bedrooms and a full bathroom. One bedroom has a queen bed and its own fireplace. The other two bedrooms are quite small, as is common in older Adirondack camps. The smallest has a queen bed and closet with very limited additional floor space, while the third bedroom features a handmade twin bunk bed. These are cozy, simple sleeping spaces rather than large modern bedrooms.
Sleeping up to 10 guests, this pet-friendly retreat makes a wonderful home base for year-round Adirondack adventures. Spend warmer days hiking, boating and exploring nearby Schroon Lake, then return for a quiet evening surrounded by the woods. Winter brings skiing, snowmobiling, cross-country trails and cozy nights by the fire.
A True Woodland Camp
Rustic Pine Lodge sits tucked into the mountains at the end of a long dirt driveway, surrounded by forest and nature. The secluded setting is a big part of its charm, but guests should arrive expecting an authentic Adirondack camp experience rather than a modern resort-style stay.
Being this close to nature also means sharing the woods with its residents. We make every effort to keep insects and mice outside, but despite regular cleaning and preventative measures, an occasional woodland visitor may find its way indoors. This is simply a reality of staying in an older camp deep in the Adirondack woods. Guests who would be uncomfortable with that possibility should consider whether a woodland camp is the right fit for their stay.
Rustic Pine Lodge isn't about polished luxury. It's about the Adirondacks you remember—towering trees, mountain views, old quilts, crackling fires, quiet mornings and time together.
Come slow down, breathe in the mountain air and experience a genuine Adirondack camp.
