About this cabin rental

This isn't a place to sleep between hikes. It's the trip your family will measure every other trip against. A true Montana log cabin with cathedral ceilings, a crackling pellet stove, and enough room for everyone to spread out and exhale. Three queen beds, two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a loft game room with movies, board games, and a card table. After big days at Glacier, you come back to something that feels like home, warm, spacious, and exactly what your family needs!

I am available via the app or text.

Martin City sits just 15 minutes from Glacier National Park's west entrance — close enough to be in the park early, far enough to feel like you've left everything behind. You're also near the town of Columbia Falls for grocery runs, and a short drive from Whitefish or Kalispell if you want a dinner out.

We use digital locks and you will have your own door code.

Montana Sky - The Lodge Cabin
This is the one you rent when you want the trip to feel like something. Big enough for the whole family. Full of Montana soul. The kind of place where you walk in and immediately know you made the right call.

The Cabin
Step through the front door and the first thing you notice is the ceiling — soaring log beams, vaulted and open, with a handcrafted log staircase rising up to the loft. The walls are full-round log, warm and rich, with Montana landscape paintings hung throughout. It feels like a real cabin, because it is one. Just with the comfort dialed all the way up.

The Living Room
The main living room is anchored by a pellet stove with a live-edge wood mantle, a flat-screen TV, and seating for the whole group. This is where you land after dinner, where someone starts a fire, where the kids pile onto the sofa and nobody checks their phone for an hour. The room has the kind of presence that makes you slow down the moment you walk in.

The Kitchen
A full, functional kitchen that actually works for a family. Stainless steel appliances including a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, and stove with range. There's plenty of counter space, deep cabinetry, and everything you need to cook real meals. Make a big breakfast before heading to the park. Come home and put something easy together without the scramble of hunting for gear.
In the kitchen sits a custom farmhouse dining table with bench seating and chairs holds the whole group comfortably. Anchored by a large mountain landscape mural, this is where the day gets recapped over dinner. The kids will actually sit at the table here.

The Bedrooms
The first bedroom wraps you in cedar from floor to ceiling with a queen bed, warm pendant lighting, a full closet, and a quiet, cozy feel that earns its rest after a long trail day.
The second bedroom is built for families. Two queen beds sit side by side with Western-themed art, a sitting chair. Both parents and kids sleep comfortably, and nobody has to negotiate who gets what.
Three queen beds total across two rooms means this cabin works for couples traveling together, families with older kids, or anyone who just wants real beds for everyone.

The Loft
Up the log staircase and you step into the best surprise in the cabin. The loft opens up under vaulted pine ceilings , a futon sofa, a card table ready for games, and a DVD player stocked with 100 movies. There's a flat-screen TV and a sliding glass door that opens to a private balcony overlooking the trees. This is where the kids disappear after dinner in the best possible way. It's also where the adults come for a quiet moment when the energy downstairs needs a break.

The Bathrooms
Two full bathrooms mean no morning bottlenecks. The primary bath features a double marble vanity, a live-edge mirror frame, and a walk-in tiled shower and premium toiletries. The second bath serves the second bedroom with its own vanity, walk-in shower, and warm wood-paneled walls. Both are clean, thoughtfully designed, and ready for a family that just came back from a full day outside.

Not a squeeze. Not a compromise. A real home base with room to breathe, space for everyone, and enough character to make it feel like Montana actually showed up. You'll leave thinking: that's the one we come back to.

Montana is a big place, you will need a car.

Glacier Cabins is a small cabin community set among the pines in Martin City, Montana. Six cabins total, and this one is one half of a duplex that shares an interior wall with one neighboring unit. Inside, it's entirely your own. Outside, the setting is close to a classic Montana fishing camp than anything that feels commercial or crowded.

The shared outdoor amenities are where evenings come together. Gather the group around the firepit after dark. Set up a game of horseshoes or cornhole in the afternoon while dinner gets going. Toss a load of laundry in on your last day so you drive home clean.
Your neighbors here are other families and adventurers who came for the same reason you did: Glacier, fresh air, and time together without the usual noise. It's a community in the best sense of the word, shared space that adds to the trip rather than taking away from it.

The Cabin has a private entrance.
