The West Woods and Morris Farm trail will lead you through 200 acres of land, over streams and bridges, and through the Sortwell Memorial Forest and Morris Farm. The Water Trail is a trail down the Back River that is best enjoyed in a kayak or canoe. A must-visit historic home built in 1807 is the Nickels-Sortwell House, which happens to be only one block away from you.

Easy to get to location with ability to walk across the footbridge to town. We appreciated the air conditioning during the very hot parts of our stay! WiFi worked great! The home would benefit from bowls and an outdoor hose to wash feet and beach items off. The one drawback to this house is the very small water heater - it provides about 4 minutes of warm/hot water. It didn’t matter what time we showered - first thing in the morning, after being out all day when no one had used the water for many hours, etc. This was really disappointing and would be a dealbreaker for us for a future stay.

We loved our time at Bay Cabin! The house offered everything we could want for our vacation with two young kids. Close proximity to the beach at Barrett’s Park and downtown was so nice. It was great to be able to cook at home when needed and to be able to walk to restaurants and stores in less than ten minutes. Our older son asked if we could just move in and stay forever. Highly recommend and hope to stay again!
