The house is located in a beautiful lakeside village, right next to the entrance to a hiking trail. It can be a little difficult to find, as it isn't immediately visible from the road even when using the address in a GPS. The house definitely has its own unique character. The ground floor is quite dark and may feel a bit overwhelming, while the upper floor is bright. The low sloping ceilings upstairs could be inconvenient for taller guests. The kitchen is very well equipped with cookware and appliances, although it is quite small and gets very warm. In summer, the light above the countertop adds even more heat to the room. The photos do a great job of showcasing the property's best features while conveniently leaving its shortcomings out of view. The stunning views make up for many of these minor inconveniences. The proximity of the crystal-clear lake is a huge advantage, and the majestic mountains together with the soothing sound of the nearby stream create a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere.

The interior has a somewhat museum-like, old-fashioned feel, and I found the number of items and decorations in the downstairs living area rather overwhelming. I also missed having curtains or blinds in the bedrooms, as there was no effective way to block the light from the windows. There also seems to be some kind of animal living somewhere in the roof. It makes quite a bit of noise, often waking us up early in the morning or making it difficult to fall asleep at night. During such a hot summer as this one, air conditioning would have been a great addition. The house became stuffy, and it was difficult to get fresh air circulating despite opening the windows. It would also be helpful to provide clear information about where guests can park their car, as the streets are very narrow and it's difficult to tell which areas are public and which are private property.
