The host was most welcoming, (someone even put a blessing beside my scooter in the morning). The room was bright, stylish and modern. The bed was very comfortable. All facilities worked perfectly including the Smart TV. The location is ideal if breaking the journey from the north coast to Denpasar. The area too is not without its own interests. The host gave excellent advice on nearby restaurants.
I'm being picky but there was a slight whiff of drains from the shower/toilet area in the morning.

We book the place for stopover and no expectation, but suprisingly it's clean, calm, and totally worth the money. The host is very attentive and genuinly warm. Still very managable to drive to touristic area and also there's a beach close by.
Don't know if it is a downside for some people but for us it is completely no problem. The neighbourhood is local people, sometimes you hear a rooster, a dog barking when you sit on the front porch watching rice field next to it, but the room is isolated.
